FREE 90 Day Limited Warranty

With every home inspection House Detectives provides a FREE 90 Day limited warranty (requires a valid email). What this means - any item rated satisfactory during the home inspection is covered for 90 days.

Things happen and if the A/C worked during inspection but not when you moved in, it's under warranty. Take up to 90 days to decide if you want a one year warranty. 

If interested, a one year warranty is available on your home inspection website. 

Videos

As an option, House Detectives can provide reports with videos of attic, foundation and significant issues. Provides much more information, clarity and puts issues in perspective. An additional fee of $25 for those wanting more information.

Same Day Reports

Our reports are uploaded the same day to a secure web site. You will be provided a log in to review, save or print your report. In addition, you can easily forward the report to other parties such as listing agent, mortgage company or contractors.

Computer Generated Report

Our reports (typically 30 pages or more) provide detailed descriptions of issues along with drawings and colored pictures. Problens are clearly defined. Click here to see my reports.

Additional information about 90 day limirted warranty 

Our buyers Limited Home Warranty begins the day of the home inspection and runs for a minimum of 90 days. Should there be an extended closing period that results in the closing date falling beyond the 90-day period, the limited warranty is then extended to the closing date plus 21 days

• Our limited warranty provides coverage for mechanical and structural problems that may arise during the coverage period
• Our claimants are allowed to find their own licensed technicians locally to repair or replace the failing system or component. This usually works in their favor because they can deal with the repair person or company that best serves their needs rather than a company whose use is required

Typically a home inspection provides no assurance of any problems that may arise. With our company and the American Home Warranty, you can rest assured that we provide you a measure of limited protection on major components for 90 days starting at the time of inspection.
