Manufactured Housing Foundation Certificates

If you are purchasing a manufactured home your lender may require a permanent foundation certificate. These certificates can only be issed by a licensed engineer.

House Detectives has teamed up with Hayman Residential Engineering Services (HRES) to provide foundation certificates meeting HUD, VA and conventional requirements. HRES is a leading engineering firm specializing in the manufactured housing industry. HRES provides certifcates in most states by utilizing a network of trained home inspoectors and can facilatate with low cost proprietory solutions.

HRES provides the following services:

• Engineering Certificates for  Manufactured Housing loans including HUD, VA and conventional loans.
• New and existing construction
• Modular home foundation design and upgrades
• Custom engineering and architectural services

Company Philosophy

It is our goal at HRES to provide the most cost-effective, easy-to-implement solutions for the manufactured/modular housing industry. We combine manufacturer’s requirements with regulatory requirements (i.e., HUD) to provide foundation designs that meet any and all design standards. Our goal is to provide designs and services that have a minimal impact on installation and price while providing, with the accompanying Engineering Certificate, a significant increase in the perceived quality of the home.

The cost of a manufactured foundation certificate is $395 for inspection with a 60 mile or less round trip from inspectors location. A milage charge of 0.50 per mile will apply to mileage in excess of 60 miles round trip. Inspection may be expedited (24 hr turnaround) for an additional $200 fee.
